Where does the time go?

This was a crazy summer but we had so much fun! I still don't feel like summer is over because the weather is still in the 100's and we are still swimming at least 3 days a week. The kids have gone back to school but I need to finish where I began and go in order! This field is where I spent the first 5 weeks of summer with my boys. And sweet Josie May tagged along and has been a trooper (diva at times) through it all. Colton and Kaden were in a football passing league (7 on 7) for 5 weeks. They played Tues-Thurs. and had a great time. They were able to meet a lot of kids, meet some of the coaches with the league we'd be starting with in the fall and it kept them active. Josie and I would sit and watch Kaden and Bry would watch Colton when he could make it.

Josie always brought her "bags" with her whenever we left the house. This one is one of the smaller ones. She usually has a purse full of snacks, coloring book and pencils, Polly Pockets, her cat and dog, and anything else she feels the need to bring. She keeps herself pretty entertained and she has been really great! I kept myself busy chatting with other Mom's whose boys played on Kaden's team, and had so much fun getting to know them.
Kaden is so much like Brian. Humble and Shy- he is NOT! He is always walking around with his shirt off, loves to flex his "muscles", and always has to point out how tan he is. We all get a kick ot of him. It has been so much fun to watch him play in the passing league with all the older kids. He is the same size, but the youngest on the team. All the kids ask him if he is going into 3rd grade and his reply is always, "Nope, fiwst." Yeah, still can't say his "r's", it is so cute, and the kids about die because he just turned 7 and he is as big as they are. I am so glad they don't treat him any different, he is just one of the "players", and he loves it!

Colton. What can I say- he is in his element. Colton has looked forward to playing football since we left Utah and moved to AZ. He misses his old friends back in Saratoga that he played ball with everyday, and since we don't know anyone on the passing league, it has been interesting watching him adjust. He is very friendly to everyone, which has been such a blessing. He has jumped right into playing, and is making quite the name for himself. He is also the youngest on the team, but the biggest, but he as always been a bit more mature for his age, no one usually questions him. He loves the kids he plays with and the coaches have been wonderful to him.
The boys had 5 weeks of the passing league, they won some games and lost some, but it was strictly passing. They are both now in great shape from practicing in the heat and running so much. We are all so excited for football season, but right now, we are just living in the moment- and LOVIN' IT!
