Gila Valley Temple

What an awesome day we had yesterday! Brian, Colton, and I attended the Gila Valley Temple dedication. It was a great experience to be at the temple dedication with Colton. I can't believe how fast he is growing up and maturing. He loved Pres. Monson, he said he was so funny. It was great to hear the stories Pres. Monson shared, and what an impression he made upon Colt. Colton also enjoyed the 30 minutes before the dedication started. On the overhead, they showed all the different temples around the world, and he said there was a good spirit there. I was trying to tell him about the different parts of the rooms, and he said, "Mom, I know...remember we went to the Draper Temple open house." Duh! I loved that we had the opportunity to go, to listen to the Temple President, Pres. Monson, and Pres. Eyring, and few other people. I am also excited to take a day trip with our family to see the temple and the Safford Valley. It was fun to hear the stories about Pres. Kimball, his love for the Safford Valley, and how much this would have/does mean to him.

It was a fabulous experience for the 3 of us. It was neat to share this with Colton, and to see his excitement with the Temple being dedicated, and to share our testimony with him and our love for the Temple!
